We have begun to understand the meaning of “hot and humid”. We toured the Gettysburg battlefield this morning withour wonderful tour guide Tom. He was extremely knowledgable and we learneda lot. We received food tickets with different options and we were realeased into a food court for lunch. We then made the journey to Baltimore to see Fort McHenry. We walked around and saw a brief video on the origins of “The Star Spangled Banner”. We then had a dinner adventure similar to lunch in Baltimore. Then we trekked to Washigton DC where we saw and toured the Washington Monument. Now it's time to get a well deserved sleep, and prepare for tomorrow.

Day 2- The tribe becomes restless...... Just kidding. We had a great day touring. We met with our tour guide and went off to see the Liberty Bell. From there we walked around historic Philadelphia and Independence Hall. After that we went to lunch and got real Philly Cheese Steaks!!! I'm sure we all agree that they were amazing. After that, we went to the US Mint and to see Benjamin Franklin's grave and the Christ Church. We then saw a performance about the meaning of “We the people”. We then departed for Gettysburg where we ate dinner at General Pickett's buffet, every Boy Scout's dream!

Spent FOREVER on the plane today, but we got a little kick start to our tour and had a fun dinner at Applebee's. We drove around Philadelphia and took in the sites, then ran up the stairs from the movie Rocky! We took a manly group photo and finished our day with a theatrical performance of American history.
